Cancer. Teen books. They seem to go hand and hand these days. The newest cancer- book- to- movie is Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl. I haven't read it, and I won't now that I saw the trailer. Despite the sad and macabre topic, the movie adaptation looks absolutely amazing! I simply wish it wasn't cancer. It's bound to go where The Fault In Our Stars did, right? Wait! Don't tell me.. maybe I'll read it. Hang on! If I read it, what if I really hate it? Then I might not want to see the movie. Buuuuuuttttt.... what if, the movie is different, not as sad somehow? Ugh. This is the dilemma I face with teen topics like cancer. Kids with cancer. It's just bound to end badly, but we still hold out hope, right?
